Why not use artificial flowers as decorations on your tree this Christmas? This is a trend that is becoming more and more popular every year now. I’ve used some pink flowers here on a white tree but there are so many colour combinations to use and blend with your own tree. You can go as bold and bright as you like or just keep them subtle.
I think they make a bit of a change from the usual decorations and compliment any tree of any colour, artificial or natural. If you have an artificial tree that has been used a lot over the years and tends to look a bit sparse on the branches well the flowers can be used to pack it out and make it look full again.
We can all look a bit tired and our branches start to thin out, I’m thinking how much I can sympathise with these Christmas trees now….but I know that a few flowers will always cheer me up and bring me back to life. So what’s good for the trees is good for us too!!

Firstly I have to apologise for not keeping my blog up to date just recently, it’s been so busy but we now have some new stock here in time for Christmas.
Yes not long now so if you need something pretty to hang on your door or as a gift idea then these new wreaths are just what you need.
They measure 12 inches (30cm) except for the one on the top left which is 16 inches (40cm). They are all artificial so you can wrap it up after Christmas and pop it away until next year to use again.
Please get in touch for anything you may need for this Christmas period including table decorations in fresh or artificial materials.
Bye for now…..
It was lovely to be able to make these wedding car ribbons in an ivory organza fabric and an artificial ivory rose. The leaves were placed behind the rose and included diamonte decorations.
The bow pictured on the left is a smaller bow for the door handles with ribbon and a suction cup for securing onto the vehicle. The bow on the right is the main ribbon for the front of the car again with ribbon and suction cup if needed to secure onto the vehicle.
These can be produced in any colour and really compliment any wedding.
I think I’m getting a little excited for the festive period as I’ve gone wreath crazy. They are really enjoyable to make up and as floristry crosses over to crafting it involves a glue gun, my favourite piece of equipment.
I’ve added two more artificial wreaths to the collection which are a little smaller than some of the others I have done. These are 14″ (35cm)and include cream and gold decorations, a glittery rose, hypericum berries and wooden Christmas toppers. The red one pictured is decorated with artificial poinsettia flowers and red berries.
I also made a flower arrangement within a cracker, this can be made in artificial or fresh flowers and makes a great table decoration or a feature on a mantlepiece. The crackers are available in gold (pictured), silver and red.
So please get in touch if you see anything you like or for any flower requests. Follow me on Pinterest, Instagram and please feel free to join me on Facebook.

Yes we have to face it Christmas is approaching fast although I haven’t seen the Coca Cola lorry on the tv yet so for me that’s when it’s official .
I did well then to get in the mood for Christmas Wreaths, thought I’d better get cracking, ha ha see what I did there – cracking – crackers, oh I’m wasted as a florist. Not really, I know, I’ll stick to the day job eh?
I loved making these wreaths up, they are all 20″ (50cm) apart from the two in the top left corner – the red one is 12″ (30cm) and the gold roses one is 16″ (40 cm). All on artificial spruce rings (red one – top left on polystyrene ring) and I’ve used a mixture of artificial flowers, and bows to decorate.
These would make a beautiful decoration to any door or to hang above a fireplace?
Not long till the tree goes up…..c’mon you know you’re ready!!
