Why not use artificial flowers as decorations on your tree this Christmas? This is a trend that is becoming more and more popular every year now. I’ve used some pink flowers here on a white tree but there are so many colour combinations to use and blend with your own tree. You can go as bold and bright as you like or just keep them subtle.
I think they make a bit of a change from the usual decorations and compliment any tree of any colour, artificial or natural. If you have an artificial tree that has been used a lot over the years and tends to look a bit sparse on the branches well the flowers can be used to pack it out and make it look full again.
We can all look a bit tired and our branches start to thin out, I’m thinking how much I can sympathise with these Christmas trees now….but I know that a few flowers will always cheer me up and bring me back to life. So what’s good for the trees is good for us too!!
Remember do feel free to get in touch for any flower requests…….
Well it’s Christmas Eve and everything is ready for tomorrow, presents are wrapped and I think it’s time for a cheeky chocolate or two and a glass of something stronger.
I hope you have wreaths hanging on the door, table decorations at the ready for that all important Christmas meal, mistletoe hanging for a special kiss maybe?? however you spend your time enjoy it.
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for taking time to read my posts and I do hope you keep on coming back to see what is going on in Suzy Blues world.
I have plenty of ideas for lots of projects and will keep you updated, please get in touch if you require any flowers but for now, kick your feet up, relax and get possession of that remote control before someone else does!!
Now I’ve never been a big fan of plants so much, I do keep a few in the garden but always felt a pull more towards flowers than plants, well until now.
I do love these mixed planters as they make an excellent gift idea and they look really pretty. My mum is plant crazy, w can never pass a garden centre without going in and buying the whole plant section. You know that scene in Jaws where they are hunting the shark itself and there is that classic line ‘we’re gonna need a bigger boat’ well I quote a similar line which is ‘we’re gonna need a bigger car’ when it comes to plant buying with my mum.
Yes you’ve guessed it, she has already snapped one of these up and they have actually given me a new love for plants, I may reconsider now and learn to love the plant. It has given me a bit of inspiration for more ideas for gifts as an alternative to flowers. As florists we have to keep our minds open to new ideas all the time.
Feel free to contact me about anything you see here or for any of your floral requirements.
Thank you for reading.
